Your role at Dynatrace

We are looking for a candidate to fill a newly created position as an Enterprise Expansion Account Executive. In this role, you will drive sales growth through targeted acquisition and expansion efforts across various industry segments. It’s all about a “land and expand” approach amongst enterprise-grade organizations.

As part of your responsibilities, you’ll oversee 7 to 10 existing customer accounts. Your focus will be on nurturing these relationships and expanding partnerships. Additionally, you’ll engage with 5 to 8 potential customers, introducing them to our offerings. After successfully converting prospects, you’ll have the chance to maintain those accounts and explore opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our solutions. Collaborating closely with our sales professionals, SDRs, and partners, you’ll work towards achieving success.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Execute territory plans to maximize revenue within a region-focused set of Enterprise accounts.
  2. Collaborate with predefined SE support based on region. Manage 7-10 existing customers and 5-8 prospects within 18 accounts.
  3. Drive new customer acquisition while expanding usage within existing accounts.
  4. Consult with VP and C-level executives to develop strategies that maximize Dynatrace's value and position against competitors.
  5. Establish Dynatrace in new markets through demos, events, and initiatives.
  6. Develop a contact network within accounts and channel partners for broad sales coverage.
  7. Work with various Dynatrace teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs.
  8. Ensure successful implementation and adoption of Dynatrace solutions by customers.
What Will Help You Succeed
Minimum Requirements
  • HS diploma or GED AND at least one year of experience in closing enterprise software sales.
Preferred Requirements
  • Proven success in enterprise software sales across business functions and executive levels.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and decision processes.
  • Strong organizational, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in building territory plans and leveraging sales ecosystems.
  • Track record of acquiring new business and working in high-velocity environments.
  • Self-motivated, persistent, and capable of building relationships with VP and C-level stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of MEDDPIC sales methodology and the observability/modern application market.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Base salary: $120,000 - $150,000, based on experience and location.
