Link Solutions, Inc. seeks an Enterprise Engineer (U-SIEM) to join our Fort Huachuca, AZ team. The role focuses on engineering, integrating, and sustaining enterprise SIEM solutions to enable proactive cyber defense for Army missions worldwide.

You will work with Government and contractor personnel to deliver secure, scalable cybersecurity capabilities and influence enterprise cyber operations. This is a highly visible position with opportunities to impact security posture and mission success.

Qualifikationen

• IAT Level III certification or equivalent security credential.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Eight or more years of technical experience in enterprise IT, cybersecurity, or network operations.
• Experience with Internet, web, application, and network security technologies.
• Experience with Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Elastic SIEM technologies.

Aufgaben

• Develop provisioning documentation and technical implementation packages for fielding activities.
• Conduct research to address emerging technology challenges and mission requirements.
• Utilize Linux, VMware, and SIEM platforms to support engineering and operations.
• Support the U-SIEM Engineering Team and Government stakeholders to meet objectives.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and coordinate with customers as directed.
• Drive timely completion of projects while adapting to priorities.
• Analyze and resolve complex issues across enterprise cybersecurity/infrastructure.
• Support planning, design, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of U-SIEM capabilities.
• Develop and maintain engineering artifacts and configuration records.
• Support cybersecurity operations through monitoring, event management, log aggregation, threat detection.
• Assist with enterprise architecture and modernization for NETCOM requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in distributed environment.
• Participate in systems testing, validation, troubleshooting, performance optimization.
• Support virtualization infrastructure, systems integration, and platform management.
• Provide technical recommendations to improve security, scalability, reliability, and ops.

Job Description

Link Solutions is seeking an Enterprise Engineer (U-SIEM) to join our team in Fort Huachuca, AZ.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen

The Enterprise Engineer (U-SIEM) will support the Army Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) Cybersecurity and Network Operations Mission Support (ADCNOMS) program, providing enterprise engineering expertise to the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM).

You will be responsible for engineering, integrating, and sustaining enterprise SIEM solutions that enable proactive cyber defense, strengthen situational awareness, and protect critical network infrastructure supporting Army missions worldwide. As a key member of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with Government and contractor personnel to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient cybersecurity capabilities.

This highly visible role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise cyber operations and make a meaningful impact on the Army's security posture and mission success.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and deliver provisioning documentation and technical implementation packages for fielding activities.
• Conduct technical research and analysis to address emerging technology challenges and mission requirements.
• Utilize Linux operating systems, VMware virtualization technologies, and SIEM platforms to support daily engineering and operational activities.
• Support the U-SIEM Engineering Team and Government stakeholders to ensure mission objectives and deliverables are achieved.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and coordinate with customers as directed by project and technical leadership.
• Drive timely completion of assigned projects and tasks while adapting to evolving mission priorities and requirements.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical issues across enterprise cybersecurity and infrastructure environments.
• Support enterprise planning, design, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment activities for U-SIEM capabilities.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, engineering artifacts, system designs, implementation plans, and configuration records.
• Support cybersecurity operations through security monitoring, event management, log aggregation, and threat detection activities.
• Assist with enterprise architecture planning and capability modernization efforts supporting NETCOM requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams within a distributed enterprise environment.
• Participate in systems testing, validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities.
• Support virtualization infrastructure, systems integration, and enterprise platform management initiatives.
• Provide technical recommendations and engineering solutions that improve system security, scalability, reliability, and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• IAT Level III certification (SecurityX/CASP+, CISSP, CCNP Security, CISA, or equivalent).
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline.
• Eight (8+) years of relevant technical experience supporting enterprise information technology, cybersecurity, systems engineering, or network operations environments.
• Demonstrated experience working with Internet, web, application, and network security technologies.
• Working knowledge of Enterprise Linux operating systems.
• Working knowledge of Elastic and enterprise SIEM technologies.
• Experience supporting virtualization platforms and enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Experience developing technical reports, engineering documentation, system design plans, functional requirements documentation, information system security plans, or related technical guidance.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Linux, virtualization technologies, and security information and event management platforms.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred:

• Computing Environment (CE) Certification such as RHCSA, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), CCNA Cybersecurity, or equivalent/higher-level certification.
• Experience supporting U.S. Army, NETCOM, DoD Cyber, or Federal cybersecurity operations environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise SIEM implementations, security monitoring, and log management platforms.
• Experience with Elastic Stack, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, or related technologies.
• Experience supporting Kubernetes, containerized environments, and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience supporting VMware virtualization infrastructure and enterprise architecture initiatives.
• Knowledge of RMF, NIST 800-53, STIGs, ACAS, and cybersecurity compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting large-scale distributed enterprise networks and cybersecurity programs.
• Experience developing technical design documentation and implementation plans.
• Ability to work effectively within geographically dispersed engineering teams.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Experience supporting mission-critical systems and enterprise-scale cybersecurity operations.
