Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking an Endpoint Security Engineering Manager to lead the engineering team responsible for endpoint protection technologies, policy implementation, platform health, and operational readiness. You will drive performance, mentoring, and strategic improvements across security initiatives to reduce business risk.

You will partner with security operations, architecture, and infrastructure teams to ensure measurable security outcomes while maintaining a flexible work model

Responsibilities

• Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and mentoring.

• Maintain operational readiness, support models, escalation paths, and runbooks.
• Manage engineering backlogs and technical debt initiatives.
• Monitor service health, platform coverage, policy effectiveness, and operational metrics.
• Drive consistent execution of security engineering processes.
• Partner with infrastructure, workplace technology, architecture, and security operations teams.
• Ensure projects achieve measurable business and security outcomes.
• Track operational risks and control effectiveness.
