Job summary

Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT) seeks a DevSecOps Engineering Program Manager to lead and scale an enterprise DevSecOps platform across multiple engineering teams and government stakeholders.

You will bridge technical execution and program leadership, guiding Agile iterations, governance, and DoD-compliant operations in a high-security environment. On-site Fall River, MA with 3 days in office required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, DevSecOps, or DoD environments.
• Experience leading Agile teams with Jira/Azure DevOps.
• Solid understanding of DevSecOps pipelines and tools.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, RKE2) and infrastructure-as-code concepts (Terraform, Ansible).
• Understanding of automated security integration (SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets detection).
• Outstanding stakeholder presentation skills to senior military/government leadership.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Plan, scope, and prioritize Agile iterations, sprints, and release roadmaps.
• Track and report work from backlog to Definition of Done (DoD).
• Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Maintain traceability between epics/features and milestones using PMO tools.
• Drive decisions on DevSecOps tooling, CI/CD modernization, and IaC choices.
• Coordinate architecture, security, and infra leads for platform decisions.
• Support deployment and operation in air-gapped, high-security environments.
