STAR Financial Bank in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Director of Enterprise Data to lead the data strategy, governance, and analytics across the organization. You will guide a team of data analysts, data scientists, BI developers, and related professionals to build trusted data platforms and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in data analytics, BI, data governance, or related fields.
• 3+ years leading teams, enterprise programs, or cross-functional data governance and analytics initiatives.
• Experience establishing data governance frameworks, data quality controls, and enterprise analytics practices.
• Experience partnering with executive leadership, risk, compliance, internal audit, information security, and technology teams.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions, platform requirements, reporting standards, and actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop, own, and execute the enterprise data and analytics strategy aligned with the bank's plan, tech roadmap, and risk expectations.
• Own the enterprise data governance roadmap, analytics prioritization, and standards for certified reporting and dashboards.
• Establish enterprise standards for metrics, data definitions, semantic models, dashboards, and board reporting.
• Enable revenue growth, operational efficiency, risk management, customer insights through trusted data.
• Oversee development of analytical models, reporting capabilities, and dashboards to support decisions.
• Define KPIs and dashboards used by executives and board committees.
• Partner with leadership to translate information needs into scalable analytics solutions and data platform capabilities.
• Provide direction to data owners and stewards across major business lines.
• Recommend data platform investments, vendor selections, and resource allocation for analytics priorities.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual reporting and improve data quality.
