Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a senior data leader for a hybrid role across Raleigh/Charlotte NC and Phoenix AZ. You will oversee data enhancement, governance, and enterprise data warehouse initiatives, leading a team and collaborating with executives to drive data-driven decisions.

You will shape data product strategy, measure adoption and operational metrics, and guide agile delivery of data programs across banking platforms with strong emphasis on governance and scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years in Risk Management including Enterprise Data Warehouse.
• Alternative: HS diploma with 12+ years in Risk Management.
• Experience with data governance and enterprise data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Data Enhancement – leads projects to improve data quality and governance across the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
• Business Support – creates data policies and ensures data validity and documentation.
• Managerial Functions – sets expectations, develops staff, and drives department performance.
• Business Strategy – translates business needs into scalable data products and data platform improvements.
