Job summary

AAA Club Alliance seeks an Enterprise Data Manager to lead the data team and own the enterprise data warehouse as a strategic technology product. You will drive architecture, governance, and modernization across ingestion, storage, and analytics, partnering with business and BI teams to deliver reliable, scalable data solutions.

The role requires 8+ years in data warehousing and 3+ years of people leadership, with hands-on SQL, ETL/ELT, and cloud data services expertise; a strong focus on CI/CD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related field required.
• 8+ years in enterprise data warehousing, data engineering, analytics, architecture, or governance.
• 5+ years leading complex data or technology delivery with roadmap/backlog/financial oversight.
• 3+ years of people-leadership with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses/lakehouses on GCP/AWS/Azure; BigQuery preferred.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT, orchestration, governance, and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead Enterprise Data team, including employees, consultants, and partners across analysis, architecture, modeling, engineering, QA, and BI.
• Own the enterprise data warehouse as a product, with accountability for reliability, cost, and roadmap.
• Define and execute long-term DW strategy, cloud migrations, and platform modernization.
• Manage backlog, intake, prioritization, release planning, and roadmap communications.
• Gather and validate business processes, metrics, events, entities, and data contracts with stakeholders.
• Oversee source-data discovery, profiling, lineage, quality, and documentation across sources.
• Establish enterprise data architecture across ingestion to presentation layers.
• Lead data modeling and semantics for consistent definitions and history.
• Provide leadership for ETL/ELT design, data integration, and error handling.
• Own CI/CD, DevSecOps for data pipelines and infrastructure.
