Capgemini seeks an experienced Lead Data Migration Engineer in Westlake, TX to drive enterprise-wide data migration strategy and execution. You will define the roadmap, oversee ETL/ELT design, and mentor senior engineers while coordinating across product, engineering, data, and business stakeholders.

The role emphasizes data standards, governance, and scalable solutions for high-volume ecosystems, with a focus on resiliency and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data engineering / migration roles.
• Expertise in data architecture, distributed systems, and database design.
• Experience with large-scale migrations (cloud, platform modernization).
• Strong knowledge of ETL tools (Azure Data Factory, Informatica, etc.).
• Deep understanding of data quality, governance, and compliance.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with resiliency and stability design principals, including SRE.

Responsabilités

• Define and own the data migration strategy and roadmap across programs.
• Lead architecture decisions for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT).
• Drive cross-functional alignment (Product, Engineering, Data, Business stakeholders).
• Establish data standards, governance, and best practices.
• Oversee end-to-end migration lifecycle (planning → execution → validation → cutover).
• Mitigate risks related to data integrity, quality, and performance.
• Design scalable solutions for high-volume, complex data ecosystems.
• Mentor senior engineers and build organizational capability.
