Job summary

Pennant Solutions Group seeks a Contract Project Manager to lead an Enterprise Data Lake implementation, coordinating data ingestion, storage, and model delivery across cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) using Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, and Delta Lake.

Role requires 5–15 years of PM experience in data/BI, strong governance, and cross-team leadership. You will report to executives and manage multi-vendor relationships in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 5 to 15 years of project/program management experience in data, BI, and cloud transformations.
• Strong knowledge of modern data stack concepts and cloud platforms.
• Ability to translate business needs into actionable data milestones.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage the end-to-end project plan with WBS, budgets, and schedules.
• Lead agile, waterfall, or hybrid delivery frameworks for data engineering tracks.
• Coordinate multi-vendor integration and ensure stage-gate sign-offs for POC, MVP, and production.
• Oversee data lake deployment: Bronze/Silver/Gold layers, ingestion, and cataloging.
• Manage governance, risk, and communications with executives and stakeholders.
