Job summary

Eightelevengroup is seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Governance Consultant to expand and implement enterprise data governance services within their data and analytics team. This contract role will work with the Enterprise Data Governance Manager to help agencies establish, mature, and sustain governance programs in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

Experience in data governance, data management, or enterprise information management in public-sector or regulated environments.
Ability to lead cross-functional meetings with diverse stakeholders.
Experience developing training, workshops, and adoption campaigns for governance initiatives.
Familiarity with AI governance, privacy, security, and compliance considerations.

Responsibilities

Support agencies in establishing, maturing, and sustaining data governance programs aligned with enterprise frameworks.
Facilitate agency awareness and adoption of responsible AI governance, privacy, security, and compliance practices.
Coordinate with privacy, security, legal, records, and compliance stakeholders on sensitive data governance activities.
Document AI-related data use cases, data sources, stewardship responsibilities, and governance checkpoints.
Promote data classification, access management, data minimization, and secure data sharing in line with standards.
Prepare agendas, meeting materials, decision logs, action trackers, and executive-ready summaries.
