Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Governance Manager to help drive the execution of our enterprise data governance program across multiple Lines of Business.
This role will lead the data governance gap management process, oversee the multi-year implementation of governance requirements by leading project managers and partnering closely with business stakeholders, and establish a testing framework to monitor adoption, quality control effectiveness, and adherence to enterprise data governance standards. The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of data governance, program execution, risk and control discipline, and cross-functional leadership. This person will drive accountability for remediation activities and support consistent implementation of enterprise governance practices. At this time, Ally will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
Lead, coach, and coordinate project managers to keep wave implementation activities on track, ensuring alignment to enterprise standards and delivery timelines. Manage dependencies, risks, and issues to ensure successful execution of the phased rollout of the enterprise data governance program. Lead the enterprise data governance gap management process across Business Lines and Corporate Functions. Serve as Product Owner for the Enterprise Data Governance Gap Portal, defining vision, roadmap, backlog, and enhancement priorities. Drive root-cause analysis and identify opportunities to strengthen enterprise data governance training and communication practices through data governance gap insights. Design and implement a sample-based testing and monitoring program to validate adherence to enterprise data governance requirements. Use testing results and governance findings to drive continuous improvement of standards, processes, and future implementation waves. Provide executive-level communications, presentations, and recommendations to senior leadership. Provide leadership with clear status updates on rollout progress, risks, and outcomes. Establish team priorities, performance objectives, and resource plans to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives.

Base Pay Range $110,000.00 - $180,000.00
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
