Job description

Overview

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.

This position supports initiatives within the Bank that improve enterprise data quality, governance, and analytics. Drives positive change across the Bank through technical innovation and continuous improvement initiatives. Creates and maintains technical documentation related to enterprise data. Provides expert consultation to team members, the Information Technology department, and other stakeholders on tactics that achieve data management goals.


Responsibilities

  • Provide frameworks, best practices and subject matter expertise in Collibra required to deliver effective Data Governance solutions.
  • Collaborate with data stewards and stakeholders to align governance initiatives and business objectives in support of building a future state Collibra strategy and roadmap.
  • Establish frameworks for data stewardship to ensure accountability.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into Collibra designs, oversee the implementation and validate results.
  • Evaluate and implement scalable solutions for technical/business metadata, data lineage, data profiling and data quality improvement efforts in Collibra.
  • Develops and delivers meta-governance recommendations.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance through robust data management practices.
  • Contribute to AI and ML usage to enhance data governance experience.
  • Create presentations and solution designs for executive leadership demos.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Data Management, Financial Analysis, or similar.

OR

High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Data Management, Financial Analysis, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Collibra Ranger profile is a must.

  • Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of data management experience, with at least 5 years in Data Governance
  • In-depth knowledge of data governance concepts, approaches and tools
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Strong written/oral communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to explain the value of Collibra and data governance to business and technical stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze complex environments, distill concepts, and present to clients
  • Prior experience in Finance/Banking industry is a plus
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team environment

The base pay for this position is generally between $120,000 and $180,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
