Job summary

Peyton Resource Group is seeking a Data Architect to own the enterprise data architecture, governance, and modeling strategy across Oracle on-premise platforms. You will define standards, manage the Erwin repository, and guide data modelers, DBAs, and engineers through high-complexity architecture decisions.

You will lead efforts for large-scale data volumes, performance tuning, and data governance initiatives while collaborating with business leadership to align data strategy with enterprise

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or database engineering.
• Deep hands-on expertise with Erwin Data Modeler at enterprise scale.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Database (on-premise) including SQL/PL-SQL and performance tuning.
• Experience modeling large data volumes (GB to multi-TB) and scalable architectures.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata/lineage, and enterprise standards.
• Ability to translate business strategy into architecture and communicate trade-offs to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and own enterprise data architecture strategy and target models.
• Govern Erwin model repository, naming conventions, and versioning at scale.
• Lead modeling reviews for complex cross-functional domains and ensure referential integrity.
• Promote Data Virtualization adoption and architecture across the enterprise.
• Mentor data modelers, ETL developers, and DBAs and collaborate with stakeholders.
