Job summary

Dematic in Plano, TX is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to define and implement the technical architecture for a Solution Data Repository, the backbone data platform for the Solutioning Suite. You will lead the design of an enterprise ontology, set data standards, enable AI at scale, and partner with product and domain teams to balance flexibility with reuse.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
5+ years of hands-on software architecture and development for data-centric platforms.
Experience building enterprise data ontologies and data standards.
Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with cloud-native architecture and CI/CD is preferred.

Responsibilities

Define and maintain the technical vision, architecture principles, and engineering strategy.
Lead design of an enterprise ontology to inform the architecture.
Establish design patterns, data standards and integration contracts.
Own architecture decisions for core platform capabilities.
Align platform evolution with market needs and customer outcomes.
Partner with product and domain leaders to drive platform roadmaps.
