Job summary

Cox Automotive seeks a senior Data Architect to drive strategy and design for the data architecture, reporting platform, and product catalog across the Xtime portfolio. You will collaborate with business and technology leaders to set data strategy, standards and roadmaps.

Responsibilities include shaping the data architecture framework, ensuring scalable and secure reporting solutions, and guiding cross-functional teams through architecture deliverables and demos.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS or related field; 10+ years in a related role.
• 10+ years of full development life cycle, architecture design and platform implementations.
• Background in data architecture with enterprise ETL and reporting experience.
• Experience designing cloud architectures (AWS preferred; others okay).
• Experience with enterprise data/reporting platforms (Snowflake, MicroStrategy, Logi).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• 5+ years of architecture delivery and storytelling to diverse audiences including leadership.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data, reporting and catalog domains.
• Define data architecture standards, reference architectures and patterns.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align architectural direction and roadmaps.
• Own architecture for data, reporting and catalog platforms and ensure scalability and security.
