About the Role

We’re seeking a dynamic Vice President to lead Data Management and AI Consulting practice for one of our premier clients. This is a client-facing, executive role focused on delivering strategic data transformation solutions—from enterprise-scale MDM and data quality initiatives to cutting-edge AI innovations. You will work closely with C-level insurance executives, driving advisory engagements that combine data governance, architecture, and generative AI to unlock business value.

This is a unique opportunity for a leader who blends deep insurance domain expertise with consulting acumen, and can drive multi-million dollar data transformation programs while helping clients navigate their AI journey.

Key Responsibilities

???? Executive Consulting & Business Transformation

• Act as a strategic advisor to C-suite stakeholders at leading P&C insurance firms.
• Translate complex business challenges into scalable, data-driven solutions.
• Shape and deliver data modernization roadmaps across Claims, Underwriting, Finance, and Operations.
• Lead large-scale Data Management and Governance programs, with focus on Master Data Management (MDM), Data Quality, and data stewardship.
• Own delivery and performance of a multi-million-dollar data solution portfolio across client accounts.
• Drive strategy, implementation, and optimization of enterprise data platforms.

???? AI Enablement (Secondary Focus)

• Oversee or support delivery of generative AI PoCs and solutions (LLMs, NLP, ML) tailored to insurance operations.
• Ensure solutions meet compliance, ethics, and scalability standards on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Stay abreast of emerging tools (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Autogen, etc.) and bring practical use cases to clients.
• Lead multidisciplinary consulting teams across data, tech, and insurance operations.
• Build trusted client relationships; ensure high satisfaction, retention, and growth.
• Contribute to business development by scoping new engagements and proposals.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in P&C Insurance or related consulting roles.
• Proven leadership of enterprise MDM, data governance, or data platform transformation initiatives.
• Strong background in client engagement, stakeholder management, and C-suite advisory.
• Exposure to AI/ML/GenAI solutions in insurance or adjacent industries is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Preferred Experience

• Deep functional knowledge of P&C insurance domains: Claims, Underwriting, Customer Service, Finance.
• Hands-on experience with platforms like Informatica, Collibra, Reltio, Semarchy, SAP MDG.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern AI/ML stacks.
• Successful delivery of transformation programs involving change management and technology rollout.
