Job summary

Deloitte Global is pursuing an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to lead architecture, governance, and modeling across the enterprise data platform. The role partners with stakeholders and technology teams to enable trusted, scalable data across ERP, CRM, MDM, and analytics platforms.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in data architecture, cross-domain modeling, and cloud experience on Azure or AWS, with strong communication and stakeholder management to drive global data initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture or enterprise information architecture.
• Experience defining canonical models, semantic standards, and data governance frameworks.
• Cross-domain data modeling expertise across ERP, CRM, MDM, analytics.
• Experience with metadata management, business glossaries, data lineage, and governance practices.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and influencing skills.
• Experience operating within large, complex, multi-domain organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data architecture, domain modeling, and governance initiatives across strategic business domains.
• Define and maintain enterprise semantic standards, canonical data models, and information architecture standards.
• Establish business terminology, domain boundaries, entity definitions, and data relationships.
• Develop logical and business domain models supporting enterprise processes and data products.
• Define governance, metadata, lineage, stewardship, and data quality standards.
• Partner with business stakeholders, Data Product Pods, and architecture teams to ensure enterprise alignment.
• Resolve data inconsistencies across ERP, CRM, MDM, and analytics platforms.
• Maintain architecture documentation, glossaries, and data dictionaries.
• Support the evolution of modern cloud data platforms and enterprise data management capabilities.

Work you'll do Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to lead enterprise-wide data architecture, business domain modeling, and information architecture across Deloitte's Global Data Platform. This role will establish and govern enterprise semantic standards, canonical data models, and domain architecture to enable consistent, trusted, and scalable data across the organization.

The successful candidate will partner with business stakeholders, Data Product Pods, and technology teams to align enterprise data strategy, governance, and architecture across key platforms and domains. Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance and/or Salesforce ecosystems is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, enterprise information architecture, logical data modeling, or domain-driven design.
• Experience defining enterprise canonical models, semantic standards, and data governance frameworks.
• Enterprise and cross-domain data modeling expertise.
• Experience with metadata management, business glossaries, data lineage, and data governance practices.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and influencing skills.
• Experience operating within large, complex, multi-domain organizations.

Preferred Domain Expertise

Experience in one or more of the following areas:

• SAP S/4HANA Finance (General Ledger, Planning & Forecasting, Financial Reporting, Enterprise Structures, and Master Data).
• Salesforce (Account, Opportunity, Customer 360, Customer Master Data, and Relationship Management).
• Enterprise data architecture spanning ERP, CRM, MDM, and analytics platforms.
