Job summary

Bloomberg L.P. is seeking a collaborative Financial Products Communications Specialist for Enterprise Data Communications in New York.

You will craft and drive the communications strategy behind Bloomberg's data and AI solutions, influencing media, analysts, and financial audiences. The role requires 4–7 years in communications, a track record of stakeholder leadership, and deep written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in communications/PR, in-house or agency.
• Experience with financial or technology firms serving finance is preferred.
• Track record of owning stakeholder relationships and setting strategy.
• Experience creating content and pitching stories to media.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop forward-looking stories about Bloomberg's role in data, AI, and market innovation.
• Translate complex Bloomberg solutions into pitches, press releases, and content.
• Own stakeholder relationships and partner with leadership for communications.
• Build and manage relationships with media and analysts; set outreach strategy and briefings.
• Compile ad-hoc coverage reports and weekly newsletters for management.
• Produce internal/external assets: bios, briefing docs, bylines, press releases, presentations.
• Manage agency relationships and accountability.
• Lead analyst relations for the data business and secure research assets.
• Develop reporting metrics with cross-functional teams and PR agencies.
• Maintain communications calendars and media/analyst lists for opportunities.
• Partner with global Communications and Marketing on cross-business initiatives.
• Identify gaps in current practices and set new standards.
