Job summary

MSIG USA seeks a seasoned Enterprise Data & AI Architect at Lead/Principal level to guide the enterprise data platform and AI ecosystem. You will define overarching architecture, set engineering standards, and advise CDAO and business leaders across underwriting, claims, actuarial, and finance.

The role emphasizes both long-term strategy and hands-on validation, prototyping solutions, and guiding engineering teams through complex delivery challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 8–12 years in data/enterprise architecture roles; 5+ years in lead capacity.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms in cloud environments (Azure, Databricks).
• Proven AI/ML systems, MLOps, and governance experience.
• Insurance/regulated industry exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise data and AI architecture blueprint for MSIG USA.
• Lead target-state architecture across cloud, data products, and AI systems.
• Govern architecture reviews, evaluate technology proposals, enforce standards.
• Translate business strategy and regulatory obligations into architectural decisions.
• Mentor senior engineers and domain architects; collaborate with CDAO and business leaders.
