Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst in McLean, VA to join our Enterprise Cybersecurity team. You will collect, analyze, and report on cyber threats impacting critical infrastructure and defense and technology clients.

You will collaborate with the Cyber Fusion Center, produce briefings and research summaries, and support incident response while developing technical and professional skills under supervision.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, Information Security, Intelligence Studies, or International Studies by Winter 2027.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threat intelligence concepts, or cyber operations.
• Ability to analyze qualitative or quantitative data and write reports for technical and non-technical audiences.

How You'll Contribute:

As a CTI analyst on our team, you'll be trusted to:

• Support the CTI team in collecting, processing, and analyzing information related to cyber threats impacting systems, assets, and critical infrastructure.
• Assist in producing standard and ad hoc intelligence reports, briefings, and research summaries under the guidance of senior analysts.
• Contribute to technical and non-technical intelligence analysis efforts, including reviewing threat reports, Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), and internal data sources.
• Support incident response and threat investigations by conducting basic research and documentation.
• Participate in intelligence sharing activities and help maintain awareness of current and emerging cyber threats.
• Collaborate with team members in a Cyber Fusion Center (CFC) environment, and gain exposure to intelligence processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Provide hands-on experience in CTI analysis while developing technical, analytical, and professional skills under supervision.

You Have:

• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threat intelligence concepts, or cyber operations
• Knowledge of cyber threats, threat actors, and basic malware concepts
• Knowledge of conducting research and analyzing qualitative or quantitative data
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and common network protocols
• Knowledge of security tools such as SIEM platforms, including SPLUNK, IDS/IPS, or threat intelligence platforms
• Ability to write clear and concise reports and summaries for technical and non-technical audiences
• Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, Information Security, Intelligence Studies, or International Studies by Winter 2027

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with academic or personal cybersecurity projects such as labs, capture-the-flag competitions, or malware analysis exercises
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Knowledge of OSINT research techniques

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
