Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks an Enterprise Cybersecurity Program Manager, Lead to provide technical project leadership across multiple cybersecurity projects. You will review scope, form cross-functional teams, assign actions, and track progress to ensure timely delivery of secure capabilities.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of project management experience in cybersecurity or IT with schedule, risk and scope control.
  • 5+ years leading technical cybersecurity projects with cross-portfolio impact.
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership and creating executive summaries.
  • Knowledge of cyber technologies and data protection strategies.
  • Experience integrating complex applications into large environments.
  • Proficient in Agile using Jira and Confluence.
  • Bachelor's degree and PMP or CompTIA Security+ certification.

Enterprise Cybersecurity Program Manager, Lead

The Opportunity: Provide technical project management leadership for multiple cross-portfolio cybersecurity projects through completion. Critically review project scope to ensure all potential cybersecurity impacts are addressed. Assemble cross-functional project teams including technical and subject matter experts, assign action items, and track progress. Leverage an understanding of cybersecurity technologies, tools, and processes to ensure all areas of scope are adequately addressed. Develop, enforce, and track project implementation timelines while balancing competing demands of engaged resources. Apply technical leadership, conflict resolution, and risk mitigation techniques to resolve implementation, deployment, and operational transition issues for all stakeholders. Identify and resolve potential technical execution gaps and serve as the trusted resource for overcoming delivery challenges throughout project execution. Proactively address challenging issues that arise during the project lifecycle including both resource and time constraints. Support Enterprise Cybersecurity (ECS) portfolio teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of capabilities and services. Implement components of the cybersecurity stack and cyber tools. Assist in soliciting and critically reviewing team inputs for required reporting. Brief portfolio and senior leadership as needed. Leverage Jira, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, and other tools for tracking and reporting as needed. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have
  • 7+ years of experience in project management, including waterfall and Agile in a cybersecurity or IT environment, including schedule, risk, and scope management
  • 5+ years of experience with leading technical cybersecurity projects
  • Experience interfacing directly with senior leadership and providing executive summaries and narratives
  • Experience developing and managing executive-level documentation, reports, whitepapers, proposals, and briefings
  • Experience with cyber technologies, cyber tool capabilities, and cyber operations teams, including Zero Trust and Data Protection strategies
  • Experience with integrating complex applications into large, complicated environments
  • Experience in Agile project management utilizing Jira and Confluence
  • Ability to lead discussions and reach consensus among various stakeholders to conduct strategic planning, define business objectives, prioritize goals, and mitigate risks
  • Bachelor's degree PMP or CompTIA Security+ certification
Nice If You Have
  • 5+ years of experience leading technical projects utilizing Agile methodology in a cybersecurity or IT environment, including schedule, risk, and scope management
  • 2+ years of experience with cybersecurity requirements, policy, and process transformation
  • Experience using Jira and Smartsheet
  • Experience managing senior leadership and facilitating action management for leadership teams
  • Experience using Microsoft Suite, including Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
  • Bachelor's degree PMP or CompTIA Security+ Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
