Job summary

The Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a Senior Strategy/Change Leader to formulate and drive strategic initiatives for the Enterprise Control and Change Office. You will partner with business leaders to translate strategy into actionable capabilities and execution plans across offices in Charlotte, Atlanta, Greensboro, and Raleigh.

You may manage a team and will rely on strong critical-thinking, communication, and collaboration skills to guide cross-functional projects and mentor

Responsibilities

  • Develop business strategy with line of business and leaders.

  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses to support rationale and measure results.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute tactics and plans.
  • Facilitate project meetings with senior leaders and SMEs.
  • Mentor less experienced teammates.
  • Develop and drive templates, processes and approaches for core functions (meetings, overviews, headcount tracking, HR initiatives).
  • Promote collaboration and transparent communication across the organization.

Please review the following job description: The purpose of this role is to formulate, develop and drive strategic initiatives and operating routines for the Enterprise Control and Change Office. The role will utilize strong critical-thinking and cross‑functional collaboration skills to help clarify business strategies and translate strategy to business capabilities and implementation approaches needed to help achieve Enterprise Control and Change Office’s strategic objectives. May manage a team. Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

Position is office centric 5 days within one of the following office locations:

  • Charlotte, NC
  • Atlanta, GA
  • Greensboro, NC
  • Raleigh, NC
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partner with line of business and business unit leaders to develop business strategy
  • Translate strategic objectives into cross‑functional execution plans that enable the realization of desired outcomes.
  • On an ongoing basis, identify opportunities and develop initiatives to accelerate performance against strategic goals and objectives.
  • Lead the development of, and present recommendations to address strategic business needs.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses to support strategic rationale and measure results.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams to clarify execution tactics and plans to achieve strategic goals.
  • Facilitate and drive project meetings with senior business leaders, business partners, and SMEs.
  • Develop, guide, and mentor less tenured teammates.
  • Develop and drive consistent adoption of templates, processes, and approaches to streamline core and common functions including meetings, business overviews, headcount tracking and management, HR initiatives, etc.
  • Support a culture of collaboration and trust through frequent and transparent communication, professionalism, and respect.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or equivalent education and related training or experience to include 8+ years of experience in positions that carry increasing levels of responsibility, including experience in strategy or business consulting
  • Critical‑thinking skills; ability to break‑down large, abstract problems or questions into sub‑components and develop comprehensive and cohesive recommendations, with supporting data/rationale
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels in the organization
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools: PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge and experience in strategic planning and execution, including creating and executing comprehensive
  • Proven ability to collaborate across organizational silos
  • Ability to think strategically while delivering tactically
  • Ability to translate and present complex data in a manner that educates, enhances understanding, and influences decisions
  • Advanced skills in data visualization and storytelling
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills
  • Sense of urgency and ability to multi‑task and manage competing projects in a deadline‑driven environment
