Job summary

RTX is seeking a senior data modeling/architecture leader for a hybrid role at a Collins Aerospace facility. The role focuses on leading the enterprise data model across conceptual, logical, and physical layers, enforcing standards, and resolving semantic conflicts across ERP, PLM, MES, MRO, IoT, analytics, and AI systems.

You will mentor data modelers, collaborate with engineers and SMEs, and drive modeling strategy with executives, ensuring compliance and interoperability across a regulated

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
• Experience with Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise common data model across conceptual, logical, and physical layers.
• Define and enforce modeling standards, metadata conventions, and canonical entities.
• Resolve semantic and definitional conflicts across business units and systems.
• Improve interoperability across ERP, PLM, MES, MRO, IoT, analytics, and AI platforms.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise, regulatory, and security requirements.
• Mentor data modelers and architects to improve modeling maturity. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and business SMEs to align business concepts with enterprise models. Communicate modeling strategy and recommendations to all levels, including executives.
