Job summary

Daikin Comfort seeks a Director of Cloud to define and execute a comprehensive cloud strategy across the enterprise, aligning with IT leadership. The role focuses on architecture, transformation roadmaps, security, governance, and operating model design to enable scalable, cost-efficient cloud platforms.

You will lead cloud engineers, DevOps, and SRE teams, oversee migrations and modernization, drive FinOps, and partner with cybersecurity and data teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, IT or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred for senior leadership roles.
• Cloud certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Google Professional Cloud Architect) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise cloud strategy aligned with objectives.
• Lead cloud architecture, engineering, operations, and governance across platforms.
• Drive cloud transformation initiatives including migrations and modernization.
• Establish cost management, security controls, policy enforcement, and compliance.
• Partner with cybersecurity, data engineering, EA, and applications teams to ensure secure, resilient cloud systems.
• Lead SRE, DevOps, and platform automation practices.
• Define operating models and strategic roadmaps for enterprise cloud adoption.
• Build and lead cloud teams including architects, engineers, DevOps, and platform specialists.
• Drive cloud literacy and organizational change management.
• Represent strategy and performance to executive leadership.
