Qualifications

  • Knowledge of multicloud networking, segmentation, routing, and hybrid connectivity.
  • Knowledge of cloud security controls, frameworks, and telemetry ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust and secure‑by‑design methodologies.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willing to take a polygraph exam.
  • Education: Associate/Bachelor/Master with corresponding years of experience; DoD 8570 IAT Level III within 30 days; CSSP‑IS within 30 days.

Enterprise Cloud Security Architect

Provide architecture leadership across Booz Allen’s Enterprise. This role requires deep technical expertise across AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud platforms, shaping how engineering teams design and implement secure‑by‑design cloud and hybrid solutions. The architect develops and maintains enterprise security standards, cloud governance models, and multicloud reference architectures, ensuring alignment with Booz Allen’s global security strategy and multicloud vision. The position plays a critical role in advancing scalable, secure, and compliant cloud environments that support enterprise business objectives.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise security architecture, cloud architecture, or cybersecurity engineering roles, utilizing cloud‑native functionality as well as COTs, GOTS, and open‑source tools.
  • Experience integrating cybersecurity tools and capabilities in an enterprise environment, modernizing capabilities by pushing functionality closer to the edge and workload.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure code concepts such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep to provide architectural guidance.
  • Knowledge of multicloud networking models, including segmentation, routing, and hybrid connectivity.
  • Knowledge of cloud security controls, compliance frameworks, and security telemetry ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of modern cybersecurity frameworks, including Zero Trust principles and secure‑by‑design methodologies.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
  • Associate’s degree and 10+ years of experience supporting IT projects and activities, Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience, or Master’s degree and 6+ years of experience.
  • A DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification, such as SecurityX or CISSP, to be fulfilled within 30 days of start date.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Cybersecurity Service Provider – Infrastructure Support Certification (CSSP‑IS) within 30 days of start date.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience producing enterprise architecture artifacts such as reference architectures, design patterns, standards, and decision records.
  • Experience with cloud modernization and multicloud strategy drivers such as innovation, portability, governance consolidation, and vendor variation.
  • Knowledge of multicloud governance and automation such as AWS Control Tower, Azure Landing Zones, or GCP Org Policies.
  • Knowledge of cloud native security, identity, and platform capabilities across all three major cloud providers.
  • Ability to evaluate, guide, and improve architectural designs created by engineering and delivery teams and create realistic roadmaps of solution development and improvement activities.
  • Multicloud certifications, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications.
Clearance Requirements

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). Benefits include health, life, disability, financial, and retirement plans; paid leave; professional development; tuition assistance; work‑life programs; and dependent care. The posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
