Job summary

AWS is hiring an Application Modernization Solution Architect to empower enterprise account teams and customers to accelerate cloud adoption through modernization of applications, including SAP, Oracle, VMware, and custom refactors.

You will work with customers to assess architectures, design scalable cloud solutions, and guide migration plans, collaborating with Business Development, Professional Services, and partners to ensure successful progression.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
10+ years of experience in technology domains such as software, cloud, systems engineering, security or data & analytics.
Experience developing technology solutions and evangelising end-to-end roadmaps for IT transformations toward cloud computing.
Proven ability to communicate across technical and non-technical audiences and at C-level levels.

Responsibilities

Qualify, develop, and close deals around migrating and modernizing applications including large-scale data center migrations.
Design modern target architectures optimized for business agility, performance, and cost.
Collaborate with enterprise account teams, solution architects, and partners to drive migrations.
Engage with C-level executives to communicate migration strategies and value propositions.
