Job summary

Fortune 500 global leader in semiconductor design and high-tech manufacturing is seeking a Public Cloud Architect to lead the architecture, governance, and rollout of an enterprise hybrid/multi-cloud platform. You will own landing zones, multi-account AWS Organizations, and security baselines while expanding into Azure and GCP, enabling application teams to move fast and securely at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering (or equivalent).
• 8+ years in cloud architecture, platform engineering, or infrastructure.
• Deep AWS multi-account architecture, Control Tower, and account vending (AFT).
• Hands-on Terraform for automated infrastructure delivery at scale.
• Networking & security with Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, SCPs, AWS Security Hub, IAM.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes on managed clouds and CI/CD/GitOps.

Responsibilities

• Landing Zone Architecture: multi-account AWS Organizations using Control Tower and AFT.
• Cloud Governance & Security: design SCPs, IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, Config rules, WAF baselines.
• Enterprise Networking: manage VPC design, Transit Gateway, private endpoints, DNS resolution.
• IaC: maintain Terraform modules and CloudFormation templates for repeatable delivery.
• FinOps & Cost Strategy: optimize costs with tagging, Savings Plans, RI usage analysis.
• Multi-Cloud Extension: extend governance into Azure and GCP workloads.
• Developer Enablement: provide quickstarts, service catalogs, quota management, and Well-Architected reviews.
