The University of Miami is a leading research university located in a diverse and vibrant community. UHealth’s physicians cover over 100 specialties and have more than one million patient encounters annually, earning worldwide recognition for teaching, research, and patient care.
Reporting to the Chief Information and Digital Officer (CIDO), the CTO is an enterprise-level executive overseeing all IT infrastructure services supporting education, clinical care, and research. The CTO provides strategic, tactical, and logistical leadership, managing departments such as End User and Server Devices, Cloud Platform Engineering & Operations, Network, Data Center & Communications, Infrastructure Software & Services, and Infrastructure Architecture. The role involves leading the delivery, support, and planning of technology platforms in a 24/7, 365-day environment.
The ideal candidate will possess a creative mindset, analytical skills, and proven success in implementing advanced technology solutions. They should be able to lead change management initiatives and interact effectively with senior executives to drive enterprise-wide improvements.
