Position Overview

Reporting to the Chief Information and Digital Officer (CIDO), the CTO is an enterprise-level executive overseeing all IT infrastructure services supporting education, clinical care, and research. The CTO provides strategic, tactical, and logistical leadership, managing departments such as End User and Server Devices, Cloud Platform Engineering & Operations, Network, Data Center & Communications, Infrastructure Software & Services, and Infrastructure Architecture. The role involves leading the delivery, support, and planning of technology platforms in a 24/7, 365-day environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute measurable strategies to meet growing IT demands through people, processes, and technology.
2. Build strong relationships across the organization to influence technology direction and industry trends.
3. Collaborate with the CIDO and leadership to manage IT operations and foster an environment focused on end-user satisfaction.
4. Serve as a technology evangelist with exceptional communication skills.
5. Lead a large, complex organization, developing and delivering a vision for IT that enhances operational efficiency and user experience.
