Job summary

Northern Trust in Tempe, AZ is offering a ten-week internship that provides exposure to financial markets and wealth management. You will work with a team on day-to-day tasks, participate in program events to develop new skills, and connect with fellow interns as you begin a career in financial services.

Through hands-on projects and collaboration with senior leaders, you will gain experience in NAV reporting, data interpretation, and improving servicing workflows while exploring future career

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with expected graduation between December 2027 and Summer 2028.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Interest in financial markets and learning about financial services.
  • Analytical, data interpretation, problem-solving and strategic thinking skills from coursework or internship.
  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork through projects and extracurricular involvement.

Responsibilities

  • Work with your team on day-to-day tasks while joining internship program events.
  • Engage in hands-on projects and network with fellow interns and senior leaders.
  • Provide reporting and calculations on Net Asset Value (NAV) for various client types.
  • Research and resolve processing inquiries and prepare correcting entries.
  • Help drive operational efficiency in servicing processes.
  • Enhance client servicing and management reporting tools.

WHO YOU ARE
  • You are pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an accredited college/university with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and Summer 2028

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As an intern at Northern Trust, you will have the opportunity to build relevant skills, work on meaningful projects, and participate in a collaborative program designed to support your early career development. You will work directly with your team on day-to-day tasks while joining internship program events to develop new skills, network with senior leaders, and connect with fellow interns in the program. Through hands-on experience, meaningful project work, and exposure to a dynamic global business, you will begin to see how your interests can grow into a long-term career at Northern Trust. A recruiter will work with you to determine the best team placement given your interests, skill set, and relevant experience.

Ten weeks Located in Tempe, AZ

Salary Range:

Salary is $30.00 USD per hour. Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
