Overview

Motorola Solutions is seeking a motivated and results-driven Channel Account Manager to join our Enterprise Body Worn Camera team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with channel partners, driving revenue through partner channels, and expanding market reach. This position requires a blend of sales, relationship management, and strategic planning skills.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new business with end-user customers with emphasis on new account development
  • Promote and market Motorola’s Body Worn Camera products and services within the assigned territory and named accounts
  • Identify diverse customer needs, and understand how our product portfolio can be applied to satisfy these needs
  • Build strong relationships and customer knowledge by understanding the Motorola Solutions business model
  • Lead video and analytics solution development efforts that address end-user needs, coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel
  • Work with vertical marketing teams to identify end-user engagement opportunities through associations, conferences, and tradeshows
  • Prospect daily using all available tools essential to success
  • Sales forecasting as required
  • Maintain CRM data for new and existing account development
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of sales experience
  • 3+ years of customer-interfacing experience - preferred
  • 2+ years of video security solutions sales experience - preferred
  • Physical security solutions experience - preferred
  • Strong technical acumen and ability to speak to our products and solutions
  • Ability to accurately forecast revenue on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Proven record of achievement in delivering sales results and developing collaborative relationships
  • Strong understanding of our go-to-market strategy and sales philosophy
  • Functional understanding of Microsoft and Google Apps, especially Excel/Sheets
  • Strong understanding of indirect sales models and channel ecosystems
  • Ability to develop and execute partner enablement programs
Location and travel
  • Must be able to travel greater than 60% of the time
  • Candidates can live anywhere in the United States
Compensation and benefits

Target Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 USD. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
