Job summary

RTX in East Hartford, CT is seeking an experienced Operations Engineer to join the Enterprise Capacity team. You will influence capacity strategy across P&W’s domestic footprint, partnering with Industrial Engineers, sites, and software developers to identify risks and drive insights.

You'll use Kinaxis Maestro and Power BI, lead training, and present findings to senior leadership, combining engineering, data analytics and cross-functional leadership to shape capacity readiness for a global

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; 5+ years experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years.
Ability to organize, analyze and communicate complex data sets.
Experience with MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

Responsibilities

Ensure adherence to Kinaxis Maestro standards for capacity modelling across sites.
Travel ~20% to P&W sites to collaborate with Industrial Engineers.
Gather and analyze capacity information from site Industrial Engineers to develop enterprise insights.
Leverage Power BI dashboards to aid in developing reports for internal customers.
Work with a software developer to enhance Kinaxis Maestro based on IE feedback.
Develop and present enterprise capacity insights, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
Lead training and adoption of Kinaxis Maestro across locations.
Validate capacity modeling outputs to ensure accurate risk representation.
