Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to serve in its Business PMO, partnering with executive leadership to consult on, evaluate, and launch enterprise business solutions. The role drives resource stewardship, feasibility assessments, change management, and translates complex operational needs into practical solutions.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, with 5 years of relevant experience (or 3 years with a Master’s).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a closely related field is required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 5 years of progressively responsible and relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree required or 3 years with a Master’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, monitors and directs multidisciplinary strategically important projects across Piedmont Healthcare (PHC).
• Projects are completed with freedom and initiative, and with accountability to achieve corporate targets.
• Provides high quality project management and analysis for an array of clinical and operational issues.
• Partners with key organizational and operational leaders to identify and achieve priorities, goals and objectives for each initiative.

This position while operating entirely within the healthcare system’s Business PMO (not Information Systems), this role serves as a strategic partner to executive leadership to consult on, evaluate, and launch enterprise business solutions. The successful candidate will drive resource stewardship initiatives, conduct upfront feasibility assessments, execute comprehensive change management, and translate complex operational needs into practical solutions.

Responsibilities

Plans, monitors and directs multidisciplinary strategically important projects across Piedmont Healthcare (PHC). Projects are completed with freedom and initiative, and with accountability to achieve corporate targets. Provides high quality project management and analysis for an array of clinical and operational issues. Partners with key organizational and operational leaders to identify and achieve priorities, goals and objectives for each initiative. Oversees plan development, industry research, expert interviews, benchmarking, operational feasibility analysis, financial proforma development, written and oral presentation development and implementation assistance.

Work Experience
