Job summary

HOLT Group seeks a Business Intelligence Developer in Irving, TX to design, develop, and maintain enterprise BI data solutions and semantic models for trusted reporting, analytics, self-service, and AI capabilities across the organization.

The role partners with BI Analysts and Data Engineering to map source data, define transformation rules, and build Gold data structures within Microsoft Fabric, creating reusable semantic models with clear definitions, metadata, and governance across multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.
• Minimum of two years in BI/analytics engineering; four+ years preferred.
• Designing and developing semantic data models and Power BI semantic models is required.
• Experience with SQL and relational data structures is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar platforms is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and analytical requirements into technical data and semantic modeling.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to map data and define transformation logic.
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise semantic models in Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop and optimize DAX measures and business calculations.
• Partner with BI Analysts and stakeholders to support dashboards and analytics.
• Ensure data quality and governance across models.
