Our IT organization seeks an Enterprise Architecture Operations Manager, a new role.
This individual manages architecture review and governance processes related to technology requests, coordinating governance activities, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, and supporting the overall governance framework. The role is technical, requiring excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee EA review and governance for technology requests, including pre-meetings, TRB and ARB meetings, and follow-ups.
- Coordinate discussions with stakeholders, vendors, and governance councils to ensure standards compliance.
- Monitor and manage the technology request backlog, ensuring timely reviews and approvals.
- Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing among ARB and TRB groups, including disseminating meeting materials and follow-up actions.
- Maintain and update the enterprise architecture governance framework and artifacts.
- Manage messaging and communications related to EA processes and standards.
- Support stakeholders via monitoring the EA inbox, facilitating knowledge transfers, and handling requests.
The candidate must have:
- Strong project management skills, organizational abilities, and familiarity with project management tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in drafting meeting minutes and follow-ups.
- Understanding of enterprise architecture principles and governance processes; familiarity with application portfolio management.
- Facilitation skills and experience coordinating meetings across diverse groups.
- Analytical problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing processes and standards, and ability to onboard new stakeholders.
Requirements include:
- Experience in a similar role within an enterprise IT environment.
- Knowledge of frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman, or similar.
- At least 5 years in enterprise architecture, IT governance, or related fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related; Master’s preferred.
