Qualifications

• 10+ years in information technology.
• 10+ years in enterprise/solution architecture, technology strategy, or architecture governance.
• 5+ years of people or architecture-leadership experience.
• Experience managing architecture governance processes and cross-functional architecture forums.
• Experience developing architecture standards, reference models, operating models, and technology roadmaps.
• Experience with EA tools such as LeanIX, Ardoq, BiZZdesign, Sparx EA, Orbus, Apptio, ServiceNow APM.
• Experience partnering with senior business and technology leaders.
• Experience in a regulated industry is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Enterprise Architecture team, including hiring, coaching, performance management, career development, and workload prioritization.
• Establish and improve the EA operating model, governance structure, processes, methods, and performance metrics.
• Lead Architecture Review Boards and related governance forums.
• Align architecture priorities with enterprise strategy, investment planning, and portfolio roadmaps.
• Oversee architecture principles, standards, reference architectures, technology roadmaps, and repositories.
• Ensure consistent architecture reviews, documentation, decision-making, exception management, and risk tracking.
• Manage EA tools, repositories, data quality, dashboards, and reporting.
• Support strategic programs, transformation initiatives, regulatory efforts, and technology modernization.

JOB SUMMARY

This position leads a team of Enterprise Architects and partners with senior business and technology leaders to align architecture practices with business strategy, technology modernization, innovation, operational resilience, security, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate can balance strategic leadership with operational execution, develop team capabilities, improve architecture processes, and ensure consistent, high-quality architecture deliverables.

• Ensure consistent architecture reviews, documentation, decision-making, exception management, and risk tracking.
• Manage EA tools, repositories, data quality, dashboards, and reporting.
• Support strategic programs, transformation initiatives, regulatory efforts, and technology modernization.
• Drive application portfolio management, technology lifecycle management, standards compliance, and technical-debt visibility.
• Promote the reuse of approved platforms, enterprise capabilities, design patterns, and shared services.
• Partner with cybersecurity, infrastructure, data, applications, operations, procurement, finance, and business teams.
• Facilitate enterprise-level decisions and resolve architecture conflicts across teams and technology domains.
• Support budget planning, resource planning, vendor engagement, and technology investment governance.
• Represent Enterprise Architecture in leadership meetings, planning sessions, and governance forums.
