Job summary

Fiserv is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to design and implement information systems supporting enterprise infrastructure. You will ensure security from the start, reduce technical debt, and align with current applications while guiding the delivery of multi-product solutions.

You will engage with development teams, define architecture roadmaps, and provide strategic guidance to product leaders across various cloud and on-premises environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in enterprise architecture.
• 3+ years in large-scale IT system development, design, and implementation.
• 3+ years in solution design.
• 3+ years with Oracle, DB2, and SQL.
• 3+ years with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• 3+ years with Spring and microservices.
• 6+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.
• 1+ years of Fiserv systems experience.

• Thought leadership in the sales and hand-off to delivery of complex solutions encompassing multiple products and services.
• Influence product development senior management on enterprise-level innovation roadmap strategy.
• Assist Product Leaders with business guidance and knowledge development.

About your role:

Responsible for designing and implementing information systems which will support the output enterprise infrastructure. Analyzes system requirements and ensures that systems will be secure from the start, remove technical debt and will be effectively integrated with current applications. Ensures that all systems are working to support current and future performance requirements and offers support to application development department regarding new technologies and system requirements. Has thorough knowledge of infrastructure, networking, output (print and plastic production), application programming, and web and software applications.

What you'll do:

• Thought leadership in the sales and hand-off to delivery of complex solutions encompassing multiple products and services, involving a clear strategy for product integration
• Influence product development senior management on enterprise-level innovation roadmap strategy
• Assist Product Leaders with business guidance, consultative direction, and knowledge development
• Solution leadership on complex, supporting RFPs requiring collaboration and input from multiple Fiserv divisions
• Develop design specifications, infrastructure diagrams and other system-related information.
• Maintain and/or obtain a detailed level of knowledge on company solutions, products and services.
• Engage extensively with development teams, related enterprise/software architects, business analysts, etc.
• Apply extensive analytical skills to address the needs of corporate strategy, understand technology specifics, understand how different parts of the business operation are connected.

Experience you'll need to have:

6+ years of experience in enterprise architecture

3+ years of experience in large-scale IT system development, design, and implementation

3+ years of experience in solution design

3+ years of experience with various database technologies like Oracle, DB2, and SQL

3+ years of experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

3+ years of experience with Spring and microservices

6+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience

1+ years of Fiserv systems experience

Experience that would be great to have:

Experience in the financial services industry
