Job summary

Sligo Software Solutions Inc. is seeking an Expert Software Architect to own the end-to-end UISIM technical architecture, ensuring modular, secure, and scalable solutions across Benefits, Appeals, and Employer Services. The role drives governance and consistency while guiding both internal teams and external vendors.

You will shape long-term blueprints, enforce federal/state compliance (IRS Pub. 1075, HIPAA, CJIS), and oversee high-volume data-exchange systems.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise/solutions architecture.
• Makes high-level design choices, sets standards, and designs multi-level architectures for large-scale systems.
• 36 months designing and delivering enterprise-scale Angular applications with reusable components and REST API integration.
• 24 months designing architecture governance and cross-module integration.
• 24 months integrating enterprise systems in high-security data-exchange environments.
• 24 months experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including GKE, Pub/Sub, IAM, and VPC Service Controls.
• Proven leadership in architecture governance, mentoring, and guiding internal and vendor teams.
• Resume and documents proving identity and any referenced certifications/degrees as required.

Description

The Expert Software Architect is responsible for the end-to-end technical architecture of the Unemployment Services Modernization Program (UISIM). This role defines system architecture, ensures solution governance alignment, and maintains architectural consistency across Benefits, Appeals, Employer Services, and all shared domain components. The architect ensures secure data exchange, high-volume throughput support, workflow orchestration, compliance with federal/state standards, modularity, and long-term maintainability.

• Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system.

• 96 months of experience in a enterprise architecture of systems, microservices, API design, and cloud platforms.
• 36 months of experience designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-scale Angular applications, including reusable components, responsive UI, state management, and REST API integration.
• 36 months of experience in architecture leadership roles including governance and cross-module integration.
• 24 months of experience in integrating enterprise systems with high-security data-exchange environments.
• 24 months of experience with GCP (GKE, Pub/Sub, IAM, VPC SC, secure egress).
• 24 months of experience in high-compliance environments (IRS Pub 1075, CJIS, HIPAA).
• 24 months of experience designing architectural guardrails and integrity/security validation frameworks.
