Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Enterprise Architectto join our company. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise and consulting experience, capable of shaping and executing data architectures that enable Medicaid modernization, data democratization, and cloud transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data architectures(conceptual, logical, and physical) across Medicaid ecosystems.
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical data solutions including data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, data platforms, and analytics services.
  • Define and drive data strategy, aligning with CMS modernization initiatives and enabling self-service analytics, predictive modeling, and AI/ML applications.
  • Architect and support cloud-based, hybrid, and on-premdata solutions, with strong emphasis on AWSand Azureplatforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and deliver on data governance, data quality, master data management (MDM), and data meshinitiatives.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies aligned to Medicaid goals; lead technology/vendor assessmentsand tool selection.
  • Contribute to the development and maturation of Data & Analytics Centers of Excellence.
  • Support agile project deliveryincluding sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery oversight in collaboration with PMO and product teams.
  • Mentor technical teams and support cross-functional knowledge transfer.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in data architecture, data modeling, and enterprise integrationwithin complex environments.
  • Strong foundation in big data, data lakes, BI platforms, and advanced analytics.
  • Deep understanding of cloud technologiesincluding AWS (preferred: AWS Certified Architect)and Azure.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data governance, data quality, data strategy, and data solution components.
  • Experience in ETL/ELT, enterprise application integration (EAI), SOA, API development, and modern data movement architectures.
  • Familiarity with data democratization, data mesh, and data-driven digital transformationpractices.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Waterfall methodologies, and project management frameworks.
  • Exceptional ability to synthesize business, functional, and technical requirementsinto effective solutions, supported by schematics and design artifacts.
  • Skilled in organizational change managementand aligning data solutions with business transformation goals.
Preferred Attributes:
  • Experience supporting State Medicaid Agenciesor other public health entities.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teamsand facilitate strategic planning sessions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Passion for continuous process improvement and data-driven decision-making.

Timeframe

  • Full-time, W2 with competitive salary and benefits. No Corp to Corp (C2C) or 1099 employees.

Location

  • Remote, with Eastern Standard Time work hours- Mon- Fri from 8am- 5pm
