Job summary

Xcelerate Solutions in Bethesda, MD seeks an experienced Enterprise Architect/Systems Engineer to shape IT enterprise architecture and drive interoperability across programs. You will work with cross-functional teams to design integrated, cloud-ready solutions ensuring alignment with client goals.

Required are a BS with extensive relevant experience or an MS with more years, plus proven EA/SE background and knowledge of TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF, UAF, SysML/UML. Active TS/SCI with poly is mandatory.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a technical field with 12–15 years of relevant experience or MS with 10–13 years; Doctorate welcomed.
• Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or Systems Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (UAF, TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF).
• Experience migrating systems to an IC Cloud and integrating systems in a cloud environment.

Enterprise Architect/ Systems Engineer – TS/SCI with CI Poly

Xcelerate Solutions is seeking an experienced, results oriented Information Technology (IT) Enterprise Architect or Systems Engineer to join our team in the Bethesda, Maryland area. You will play a critical role in documenting and shaping our client's IT enterprise architecture, ensuring alignment with the client’s vision of driving interoperability across organizations. Responsibilities:

• Develop an IT enterprise architecture that provides client stakeholders awareness of critical capabilities, dependencies, and mission critical impacts and risks. This includes developing the:


• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content providers, content consumers, developers, engineers, and business analysts.


• Ability to work in small teams or independently.


• Experience supporting senior government civilians.


• Ability to gather requirements from various stakeholders and develop an integrated solution.


• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.


• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.


• BS degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.


• Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, Systems Engineer, or similar role.


• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., UAF, TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF)


• Familiarity with Systems Modeling Language (SysML) or Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Model-Based Systems Engineering


• Experience migrating systems to an IC Cloud


• Experience integrating systems and tools in a cloud environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Five or more years of experience working with or in the Intelligence Community (IC).


• Experience with M365 and other enterprise networks, providers and tools
