Job summary

TCH Medical Center in Houston seeks a Senior Enterprise Architect to lead technical services, analyze, and deliver clinical and business solutions. You will translate business needs into detailed requirements and serve as a senior SME for enterprise applications, processes, and data flows within the integrated delivery system.

You will participate in deep-dive evaluations, develop architecture specifications and roadmaps, and help connect business strategy with technology across systems.

Qualifications

• 13 years information systems architecture, design, or maintenance experience.
• A bachelor’s degree may substitute for 4 years of experience.
• HS Diploma or GED is required.

• Leads systems design and analysis.
• Participates in committees as an IS representative.

In this position you will have a major role in providing lead technical services to analyze, design, and deliver clinical/business solutions. Lends expertise to answer technical consulting questions, individually or as part of a project team. Serves as a senior subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures associated with enterprise applications plan. Prepares and participates in \"deep dive\" technical evaluation meetings, investigating processes to understand data and communications flow within Integrated Delivery System.

• Translates business needs into detail requirement specifications.


• Discover and understand customers business model, drivers, goals, pain-points, constraints, priorities and formulate recommendations.


• Create a business case when there is ambiguity in customer requirements.


• Exhibit awareness of industry trends and standards. Apply a structured business architecture approach and methodology for capturing the key views of the enterprise and translating business needs into key requirements.


• Developing architecture specifications, models and roadmaps based on business/technical requirements to deliver complete solution including technologies, processes and people.


• Research, review, analyze and recommend new and emerging highly complex technological and business development trends to meet business requirements.


• Responsible for connecting business strategy and technology to emerging business and information systems capabilities.
