  • Lead design reviews and ensure development teams follow architecture standards and federal compliance guidelines (e.g., ATO).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including infrastructure, application development, and data engineering—to implement end-to-end solutions.
  • Engage directly with government stakeholders to present architectural strategies, respond to mission needs, and support transition planning.
  • Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project.

  • Deep knowledge of enterprise database platforms such as InterSystems IRIS/Caché, Oracle, and SQL Server.
  • Expertise in healthcare data integration, metadata-driven design, and interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
  • Strong understanding of system security, compliance, performance optimization, and disaster recovery best practices in federal environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Additional Qualifications
  • Experience with VA systems including VX130 and VistA modernization efforts.
  • Familiarity with enterprise messaging platforms such as InterSystems Ensemble or Health Connect.
