Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking an Enterprise Architect II to lead integration, orchestration, and API strategy on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

This role guides architecture across ERP, OMS, Commerce, MDM, analytics and data platforms, ensuring security, resilience, and observability. This hybrid role requires working from the Temple, TX office at least three days a week; candidates should live within 50 minutes of Temple.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, IT, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 8+ years in enterprise/solution/platform architecture or integration architecture.
• Deep expertise in enterprise integration, APIs, events, and cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise integration, orchestration, and API architecture strategies.
• Define baseline, transition-state, and target-state integration architectures across key domains.
• Guide architecture decisions for APIs, event-driven solutions, and orchestration workflows.
• Establish and evolve the enterprise integration architecture runway aligned with strategic initiatives.
• Partner with Product, Program, Security, Architecture, and Engineering to align roadmaps with standards.
• Support portfolio planning, platform modernization, and technology investment decisions.
