Job summary

NMDP in Minnesota seeks an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead architecture across business capabilities, technology domains, and strategic initiatives, ensuring coherent, secure, scalable solutions aligned with health data governance and regulatory requirements.

You will partner with business and IT leaders to define target-state architectures, roadmaps, standards, and decision guidance, while balancing enterprise consistency with delivery needs and guiding modernization across Salesforce,

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of business capabilities, value streams, and operating models to support strategy and technology planning.
• Experience building enterprise roadmaps and target-state architectures across multiple domains.
• Ability to advise security, cloud, infrastructure, and application teams on complex initiatives.
• Understanding healthcare data governance, regulatory expectations, and compliance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategic priorities into actionable architecture roadmaps and decision guidance.
• Lead enterprise-level architecture analyses including current-state, target-state, and transition planning.
• Provide enterprise-level guidance to internal architecture, platform, and application teams.
• Define and promote reusable reference architectures, integration patterns, standards, and architecture decision records.
• Facilitate cross-functional architecture discussions to resolve tradeoffs and align stakeholders.
• Participate in Architecture Review Board activities and document decisions.
