Title: Enterprise Architect - Digital Banking & Customer Experience
Location: Must sit in these locations - Phoenix, AZ; Dallas, TX; Columbus, OH (4 days onsite)

Job Profile Summary:
As Enterprise Architect, you'll be a member of the Enterprise Architecture team and will define and lead architectural priorities that advance the business and technology strategy of the organization in a Digital Transformation Space. You'll participate in the Architecture Standards Board (ASB) and Technology Review Board (TRB) governance forums as well as manage the business capability inventory for digital domain. You'll develop applicable standards and patterns for the domain and bring it forward to ASB for review and approval. Additionally, you'll be accountable for the design and documentation of solution architecture relating to applications and capabilities within a digital domain. You'll work with the business, product, and IT teams to ensure the designs are secure, compliant, reliable and scalable while also meeting the needs of the business. You'll also be responsible for reviewing the solution architecture design in TRB and ensure the design aligns to approved standards and patterns.
Job Description:
- Develop and maintain business capability maps, value streams, customer journeys, and target-state business architecture models for the Digital Domain.
- Partner with business executives to identify capability gaps, prioritize transformation strategies, and define future-state operating models.
- Lead enterprise-wide customer experience transformation initiatives by aligning business capabilities, customer journeys, processes, data, applications, and technology platforms to deliver seamless omnichannel experiences.
- Facilitate customer journey mapping and capability modeling across Retail, Commercial, Treasury Management, and Contact Center domains to identify digitization opportunities and improve customer and employee experiences.
- Define architecture strategies supporting omnichannel banking experiences across Digital Banking, Contact Center, Relationship Banking, Branch Banking, Sales, Service, and Partner Channels.
- Lead the integration and modernization of customer engagement platforms including Digital Banking, D365 CRM, Contact Center, CIAM, Marketing, and Customer Data Platforms (CDP).
- Develop architecture strategies that leverage Artificial Intelligence, Predictive Analytics, Conversational AI, Personalization, Automation, and Data Products to improve customer engagement, operational efficiency, and decision-making.
- Lead modernization strategies for legacy banking platforms through API-first, event-driven, cloud-native, and composable architecture principles.
- Define and enable digital ecosystem strategies leveraging Open Banking, APIs, integration platforms, and fintech partnerships.
- Strong strategic & critical thinking skills, as well as communication and collaboration skills are required, to develop relationships with cross functional teams to enable value add capabilities and services for our customers that support our growth trajectory.
- Experience working within product-centric operating models and driving alignment between business strategy, product roadmaps, architecture strategy, and delivery execution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and can develop content for & communicate with Executive Level stakeholders as well as Engineering & Scrum teams.
- Ability to build trust and respect as a thought leader who can influence and persuade business and IT leaders and development teams.
Additional Job Description:
- 10+ years leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives within banking or financial services organizations.
- Deep expertise in Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Treasury Services, Digital Banking, Payments, Lending, Deposit Operations, and Customer Lifecycle Management. Demonstrated experience designing and modernizing customer-facing banking capabilities across mobile, online, contact center, branch, sales, servicing, and self-service channels.
- Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
- Objective mindset that can think ‘enterprise first’ and remain unbiased toward any specific technology or vendor choice, with decisions made based on data, analysis, & POC results.
- Advanced experience working in an architecture function with knowledge & experience developing reference architectures & patterns and supporting governance functions related to: Digital Banking Platform(Q2), Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM), Digital Account Opening (DAO), FIS ecosystem, Cloud Compute, Storage and Networking technologies. IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Serverless, Containers, Automation, Security.
- Advanced understanding of product management, agile principles and development methodologies and capability of supporting agile and DevOps teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt.
- Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
