Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to define principles and standards across applications, infrastructure, and information security in a wealth/asset management context.

The role leads cloud and on-prem platform selection, guides multi-year roadmaps, and collaborates with executives to implement strategic technology solutions. Strong mentoring and cross-functional leadership are essential.

Responsibilities

• Define and oversee adherence to enterprise architecture principles and standards across applications, infrastructure, and information security.
• Define architecture and lead selection of important cloud and on-premises platforms, products, and vendors for enterprise programs.
• Ensure application and system architecture meets enterprise needs, especially cloud-based data and integration architecture with CRD for Front and Middle Office functions and SS&C GWP and Sylvan for Back Office functions.
• Lead technology and business teams in evaluating current technology solutions and planning, designing, and coordinating multi-year application and support roadmaps.
• Survey the technology landscape and collaborate with executive leadership to recommend, implement, and maintain technology solutions aligned with firm strategy.
• Function as SME to Technology Business Services, Infrastructure and Operations, Information Security, third-party vendors, and implementation partners.
• Facilitate optimization of current-state architecture during transformation to future-state architecture.

• Ensure application and system architecture meets enterprise needs, especially cloud-based data and integration architecture with CRD for Front and Middle Office functions and SS&C GWP and Sylvan for Back Office functions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information systems or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 10+ years' combination of solution / technical / business architecture roles
• 7+ years leading, developing and mentoring
• 5+ years of architecture experience at a large wealth management or asset management firm
• Experience in CRD or another Order Management System (OMS) implementation/customization, such as Bloomberg AIM, BlackRock Aladdin, SS&C Advent (Moxy), or Enfusion by Clearwater, in a wealth management context dealing with UMA portfolio structures
• Experience with application, data, integration, security, and technology platform architectures and implementation patterns
• Experience with Sylvan strongly preferred
• Experience with Azure data and integration services preferred
• Experience implementing multiple complex enterprise-level changes simultaneously, including guiding and measuring adoption of best practices
• USC or GC ONLY work authorization
