Lead the long-range planning for the structure and interaction of the enterprise's major types/sources of data, information needs, and business processes/strategy.
Job Profile Summary:
The Enterprise Architect - Applications is responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high-performing application architectures built on the public cloud (primarily Azure). We seek a highly skilled individual to drive FedEx's shift towards a platform engineering and product-focused culture, playing a critical role in shaping our future.
As an Application Architect, you will design, develop, and implement innovative application architectures aligned with strategic goals to drive business value. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in cloud-native application development and legacy system modernization, focusing on reusability, scalability, and resilience.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or equivalent formal training.
Five (5) years of relevant work experience in IT or engineering environments.
Ability to apply computer concepts, theories, principles, and methods to projects and business problems. Strong communication skills.

The compensation range is an estimate based on location and experience. Actual pay depends on various factors including market and individual qualifications. Benefits include health, vision, dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
