Our client is seeking an Enterprise Architect – Mid Level to join their team. As an Enterprise Architect, you will be part of the Enterprise Architecture Department supporting the Department of Energy (DOE). The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder engagement abilities, and a strategic mindset that aligns successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Enterprise Architect – Mid Level

Location: Remote

Pay Range: $90-95 per hour W2

Clearance Required: Public Trust

What’s the Job?
  • Lead Application Portfolio Optimization (APO) efforts by capturing and analyzing application data, relationships, and business alignments
  • Conduct application rationalization initiatives and provide recommendations for modernization
  • Collaborate with the DOE Chief Architect to maintain and evolve the Enterprise Architecture (EA) strategy, roadmap, and planning documents
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for EA tools, particularly Alfabet
  • Organize and chair EA-related working groups and stakeholder sessions
What’s Needed?
  • Proven experience in Application Portfolio Optimization (APO)
  • Strong background in Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP)
  • Familiarity with EA tools such as Alfabet
  • Ability to perform risk assessments and deliver actionable modernization strategies
  • Experience working in or with federal agencies is a plus
