Qualifications

Overview

Employment Type: Full-Time, Senior-Level. Department: Information Technology. CGS is seeking an experienced senior-level Information Technology Enterprise Architect to support the IT business mission of a large-scale government enterprise IT infrastructure. The ideal applicant should demonstrate knowledge and experience in organization processes and procedures specific to PMI, ITIL, CISSP, SDLC, Agile, ISSO, Six Sigma, and CMMI. The applicant will also be tasked with collecting information for strategic business mission planning and IT investment.

Responsibilities

• The IT Enterprise Architect position requires the candidate to possess knowledge, experience, and abilities to broadly understand an organization’s various technologies and to work with an organization’s leaders to collect information for strategic business mission planning and IT investment.
• Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and professional maturity and senior-level IT competency, with exceptional oral and written communication abilities and knowledge of organization processes and procedures specific to PMI, ITIL, CISSP, SDLC, Agile, ISSO, Six Sigma, and CMMI.
• Provide a view for system owners, planners, designers, developers, and subcontractors to offer a holistic view of the enterprise from different perspectives, with consideration of budget constraints, using EA frameworks such as Zachman and TOGAF.
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience in Windows desktop applications, remote access, SQL Server, VMware, storage technologies, cloud services, Broadworks, Polycom, BlackBerry, Apple iOS, information security, wireless technologies, and system networking.
• Understand and utilize ITIL, PMI project management, Agile, and Change configuration controls.
• Provide technical engineering practice recommendations, advice, and enhancements from prior successful systems integrations.
• Exhibit exceptional writing, verbal, and interpersonal negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work confidently and independently with minimal guidance.
