Job summary

Asterism IT Solutions is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect in Massachusetts to define enterprise architecture strategy, technology roadmaps, cloud adoption, and architecture governance. You will lead cloud strategy, modernize legacy platforms, and shape data platform initiatives including lakehouse, data mesh, and AI enablement.

You will establish principles and standards, chair Architecture Review Boards, and drive buy/build decisions while ensuring security, resilience, and regulatory

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise architecture vision, target-state architecture, and multi-year technology roadmap.
• Lead cloud strategy and adoption across multi-cloud or hybrid environments.
• Drive migration and modernization of legacy platforms.
• Define enterprise data platform strategy including lakehouse, warehouse, data mesh/fabric, real-time streaming, and AI/ML enablement.
• Establish architecture principles, reference architectures, and design standards.
• Lead Architecture Review Boards and build/buy/partner decisions.
• Ensure security, resilience, compliance, data privacy, zero-trust, and disaster recovery requirements are incorporated into architecture.
• Manage technical debt and application/vendor portfolio rationalization.
• Strong experience communicating with CIO/CTO and other executive stakeholders.
• Ability to present investment cases and architecture strategy to senior leadership.
