Job summary

MANTECH International Corporation seeks a motivated Enterprise Architect (Data Fabric) to join our team in Doral, FL. Responsibilities include designing enterprise architectures, aligning IT strategy with mission requirements, and guiding system design across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications include 5+ years in enterprise architecture with TOGAF/DoDAF experience or higher degrees with relevant years. Must hold a current security clearance (see posting for details).

• PhD with 1+ year of relevant experience acceptable.
• Associate’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience acceptable.
• HS diploma with 9+ years of relevant experience acceptable.
• Proven ability designing complex enterprise IT, cloud, or network architectures with TOGAF/DoDAF.
• Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating architectural diagrams and docs.

Job description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Enterprise Architect , Data Fabric to join our team in Doral, FL .

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Designing, defining, and maintaining enterprise-wide technical architectures and system integration baselines.

• Aligning IT strategy, hardware, and software systems with customer operational objectives and mission requirements.

• Collaborating with cross-functional technical teams, data architects, and project leaders to guide system design and deployment.

• Evaluating legacy IT systems, cloud architectures, and emerging technologies to recommend modernization pathways.

• Establishing engineering standards, architectural governance frameworks, and technical roadmaps across enterprise environments.

• Maintaining technical baseline configurations, enterprise diagrams, and comprehensive architectural documentation.

• Recommending and implementing process improvements to enhance system interoperability, security, and scalability.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in enterprise architecture.

• OR a master’s degree and 3+ or more years of relevant experience

• OR a PhD and 1+ or more years of relevant experience

• OR an associate’s degree and 7+ or more years of relevant experience

• OR a high school diploma and 9+ or more years of relevant experience

• Proven experience designing and implementing complex enterprise IT, cloud, or network architectures. Strong expertise in architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, DoDAF) and system modeling methodologies.

• Hands-on experience developing enterprise technology roadmaps, system migration strategies, and technical baselines. Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex technical documentation and executive architectural diagrams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Enterprise Architecture certification (e.g., TOGAF, CEA) or cloud architectural certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect).

• Prior experience supporting U.S. Military Command operations or Department of Defense enterprise technical environments.

• Familiarity with DoD Enterprise Architecture guidelines, DevSecOps deployment frameworks, and data integration standards.

• Demonstrated ability to lead technical governance boards and drive multi-disciplinary engineering initiatives.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must hold a current/active secret security clearance.

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
